Russound – Multi-Room Audio

One of the core components that can be used to distribute your favorite music around your home is known as a controller. It’s a device that is part multi-channel amplifier, part advanced audio matrix, and part device control system. In other words, it’s the box that all of your favorite audio sources get connected to. It’s smart enough not only to handle playing your music around your home, but also to send the proper commands to turn them all on and off, to play or pause them, to skip forwards or backwards, or to change tracks, stations, etc. Russound offers three different controller types ranging from our advanced MCA-Series, to the intermediate level CAA-Series products down to our easy-to-use entry-level CA4 system.

The XSource Streaming Audio Player is the perfect addition to any Russound system or to add as a source to any amplifier, receiver, or audio system. Designed for audio professionals, it offers rack-mount options and is fully IP controllable
for integration into 3rd party control systems. With built-in support for high resolution audio and Apple AirPlay, it couldn’t be easier to use or more enjoyable. Full control is available from iOS/Android phones or tablets and with Russound’s XTS in-wall touchscreen.

The Russound MCA-88X Digital multi-zone controller amplifier streamer provides up to eight zones of distributed audio. Scalable to 48 zones, the MCA-88X provides numerous options to tailor every room in residential or light commercial distributed audio systems. A variety of input options have been engineered into the MCA-88X to connect up to 7 individual sources in addition to its built-in XStream streamer.

The in-wall App from Russound! The XTS Touchscreen is a stylish in-wall touchscreen that runs an embedded version of the popular MyRussound™ App. By placing the powerful MyRussound app in a permanent location on a wall, the XTS gives you full and easy control of your Russound system, eliminating the need to use your phone or tablet to simply change the volume or change the music.

The XTSPlus Touchscreen is a stylish in-wall touchscreen that runs an embedded version of the MyRussound™ App to control any Russound audio systems that connect to a home network like the MCA-Series controllers or the XStream Series of audio streaming solutions. By placing the powerful MyRussound app in a permanent location on a wall, the XTSplus gives you full and easy control of your Russound system, eliminating the need to use your phone or tablet to simply change the volume or change the music.

The Russound MCA-66 Digital multi-zone controller amplifier provides up to six zones of distributed audio. Scalable to 36 zones, the MCA-66 provides numerous options to tailor every room in residential or light commercial distributed audio systems. A variety of input options have been engineered into the MCA-66 to connect up to 6 sources. AV source input options include 6 Analog, 3 Digital (up to 3 coax, or 2 coax and 1 optical), 1 paging and 1 Bluetooth extender connection. The Bluetooth connection allows the installation of the MCA-66 in an equipment rack while remotely locating the optional Russound BTC-1X Bluetooth receiver up to 300’ away in or near the room where the Bluetooth source will be located.
