I am a halfer, Chinese/French Canadian and discovered pole dancing about a year ago and have been hooked since! I have been learing from the wonderful Tantra Fitness studio and thought I'd give the competition a try for fun! I am 23 in 2 weeks so I figured I'd make my 23rd a memorable year! I look forward to the competition!

I discovered Pole Dance while looking for ways to get back in shape after being a stay at home Mom for several years. I started taking classes once a week but quickly realized that I had found a serious passion; and after a year of studying Pole I began to instruct entry level classes at a local Studio. 3 years later and still instructing Pole Dance, I am excited to have the chance to compete and share this passion with others. I have had no formal training in dance or gymnastics prior to discovering Pole!

Hi my name is Star Nova and I'm a student. I started pole dancing 3 years ago, and since then I have been nurturing and enjoying it with a passion. I had also been learning Circus Art, specially Aerial for over 2 years now. Finally I'm undertaking a gymnastic course once a week to improve my balance. Marianne has her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Capilano University and is continuing her studies towards completing her Certified General Accountant designation. She has been taking pole dancing classes at Tantra Fitness for the past year now and is eager to advance in her pole training.
